AWARENESS FOR PEACE

Awareness for peace, yes. And for everything else!
Is there peace without awareness? Doubt it. But! Is there awareness without peace? Mmmm… Let’s analyze!
…what IS awareness? I think everyone should rely on their own experience and practice for that. I can talk about my experience.
In my own experience, peace comes automatically with awareness in a degree directly proportional to the latter. It’s like butter. It doesn’t come from water, it comes from milk. Or, how could we have sounds (music, for that matter) without silence?
Now, should that mean that awareness is one step ahead of peace?
But I rather ask myself: why should we classify everything? Can’t we transcend the “one’s and zero’s programming” that seems to be the base of our mental structure?
I do firmly realize that if I am not aware (timeless and spaceless–here and now, in the everlasting continuity of the present instant, despite the illusional contradiction that this terms may indicate–) I am already dead, and definitely not in peace.
Why should we be aware? We don’t have to, we are free to choose! However, I would say, FOR MY OWN SAKE! Actually, I’m still amazed how we human beings still ask these type of questions… it answers by itself, doesn’t it? Less talk, more walk… until walking isn’t necessary any more.
In my own little world and personal (is there another kind?) experience, awareness is the real thing. Better yet, IS. No connection (to what?) possible without it. If the only real thing is the continuous here and now, can we say we LIVE if we are not aware? And I ask myself: is conscience basic awareness?
Listening to the silence, looking at the void. Can one really be aware without doing (better being) such thing? And more: who listens to the silence, who looks at the void?

"(...) if I am not aware, I am already dead, and definitely not in peace."
